This barrel is used for metal polishing, and is complete with fins to aid the turning of heavy items. The plastic barrels are a low cost option for tumbling machines. They do make slightly more noise than the quieter rubber ones. To easily remove/fix the caps, simply submerge in warm to semi hot soapy water.
